New Year!!! - Good laughs, people. Well, what I can remember anyway. Sorry to everyone I may have molested/offended/stolen alcohol from. It wasn't my fault.
Sleepout!!! - What can I say? We may have scarred a few people (Matthew) for life, but we enjoyed ourselves and proven our point to Rhiannon - nobody's heard of Jason Orange!!!
Prom!!! - Amazing night. Nit else to say. Except, I should probably make sure the person I'm slagging isn't around before I start to slag them. Hehe.
Murder Mystery!!! - Ah, what a laugh. Fuckloads of jelly, and ridiculous costumes, and my glorious pipe, and nobody keeping their accents up for long. And it turned out to be Rachel all the time. It's always the quiet ones...
Russel Howard!!! - Radiator pants, anyone? And the cool support act who let us all scream FUCK and other assorted swearwords! Havn't laughed so much in y-e-ages.
Music Hall Concert!!! - Ok, so I wasn't great at the whole tuning thing, but we sounded good. And we OWNED the South band. Oh, and Thomas almost got chucked out of Jimmy Chungs ("I'm going to challenge one of the waiters to a Kung-Fu fight!"). Good times.
DoE Expedition!!! - Good laugh, with the granola bars and Erin's pussy toe and the amazing prospect of pancakes.
Joseph!!! - We are the ultimate groupies, thanks very much! Poor Mark must've been scarred for life, though, with Mrs Beveridge's "adoring girls". Oh, the lolness.
Molly's Party!!! - All a bit patchy, to be honest. Remember it being a good night though, with a lot of Jack Daniels and other assorted alcohol consumed.
Music Centre Disco!!! - Funness! Not the most pleasant experience, having a bottle of vodka shoved down your top, but ah well. Pretty damn fun for a sober party.
Nethybridge!!! - I think I should get a prize for the best fall on the ski slope!!!! All hail the two hot guys and the guy with the afro!!! Shame we never found the shoe/marshmallow/condensed milk thief.
Rhiannon's 17th!!! - Ah, it was a laugh, wasn't it? Especially the general banter in and around Rhiannon's garden. I was really, really midgie-bittern afterwards though.
Louise's 17th!!! - Ok, so I suck at bowling, but it was still fun. Especially the late-night ramblings down the beach. And Callum, being the genius that he is, managed to get locked out at two in the morning.
Moonlight Prowl!!! - Who doesn't enjoy jumping in front of cars wearing a fluorescent yellow vest? So we almost got hit by several cars, and packed far too many water bottles into bags. It was still fun.
Open Days!!! - We must've walked at least ten miles over those two days, what with getting lost in Glasgow and our halls in Edinburgh being at the end of the longest street in the world!!! It was great though. I love Glasgow so much!
Ryla!!! - Most fun I've had in ages! Big shoutout to all of team 4 here. Ok, so we were really mediocre, but we had fun. We were never storming. And, of course, we now have our BUNS OF STEEL! also big shoutout to everyone in Fraser (the best room) and all my wonderful posse - Heather, Megan, Cara, Lucy, Emma, Gail, and, of course, HAZEL, my lovely spouse!

2007 has brought us a lot of crap, and a lot of good stuff too.
We all (and by ‘we’ I mean our crew, not just any random who reads this) turned either 14, 15, or 16.
The summer was a bit shit, weather-wise, but we had fun anyway. We all miraculously managed to pass our exams, despite a lot of stresses that mostly seemed to involve computing. Then we got to move on to another year of school, which, speaking for the fifth years at least, was less fun than imagined.
Some of us waved goodbye to maths and French and, best of all, computing! You know, I still miss the banter and the bitching and the nog!
Rhiannon’s been through a range of obsessions: the Phelps twins, Robin Hood, Zac Efron…but I think we can all agree that there are only two words to sum up Rhiannon’s 2007 obsessions – TAKE THAT! (We few TT haters are hanging in there, but Rhiannon’s doing her best to convert us all!)
Giving her credit, the rest of us had some obsessions too: Susie and Louise/Supernatural, Fiona/House, Susie/Robin Hood, Louise/Mcfly…
The curse of braces was bestowed on Louise, then Susie, then Moses. It seems nobody is safe.
Memories (not necessarily in any order)…
Friday afternoon ‘study periods’ – ranging from coffee drinking in the library to my house to just wandering around the town – are pretty damn awesome.
London Trip 07 – it was amazing. Highlights include: the Harry Potter premier, the hot guys in the room opposite Susie and Moses’s room, ‘Come Lord Vader’, the re-enaction of ‘Come Lord Vader’, dancing in the rain on the way home from WWRY, Fiona getting chatted up by the drunk guy from New Zealand, Rhiannon with a bin on her head (that’s really part of the re-enaction of ‘Come Lord Vader’ but it was classic!) and many others!
Youth Heaven 07 – it was a great day, full of moshing, inflatables and FREE HUGS, despite the rain and the mud.
Starfield – awesome night. What else can I say?
Sleepout – ah, it was cold and full of emos, but it was awesome, with water fights and who-can-stay-outside-the-longest competitions and many, many games of cards!
Cheat – noisy games of cheat in the canteen. Need I say more?
Netball – there was Glenrothes (with the baaaa!) and Arbroath (with the ‘Do you have… a hammer?’) and the big match against all the people in Aberdeen, and Lossie and Ellon, but I think one team stands out against all the others. We salute you, Gordies, especially CJ, for you know how to do it. Just as a sidenote, we still need to win a match.
That karaoke night in Banff – well it was awesome, wasn’t it? We moshed and danced in the street and bought teaspoons and giant tubs of ice cream, and drank really cool yet annoyingly un-alcoholic cocktails. We also sang.
Duke of Edinburgh expeditions – ah, good times. It pissed down with rain, we got lost and ended up at a strange hotel 2 miles off course, we almost saw the meteor shower, we dyed a sponge orange, we met some lovely neds, we (and when I say we, I mean me) pretended to be a gremlin. Lots of mars bars and lucozade energy sweets were consumed, and the word ‘sitmat’ was repeated several thousand times.
Young Consumer of the Year – come on, I’m writing this, I can put my own stuff in here. Bobbits called Frederick, ‘Luxembourg’, getting locked in the van… good times. And we won, so there!
2007 also saw me, Fiona and Louise joining Forum, Fiona converting to take That, Fiona converting away from Take That again, Rhiannon taking over the TT fanworld, Louise and Jamie reaching their one year mark and still going strong (a communal ‘awwww’ would be good here) and me and Jane forming an elaborate plot to take over the world with penguins
What else happened? Well, Saddam Hussein was executed (that was this year, wasn’t it?), Madeline McCann went missing in Portugal, Channel 4 reached its 25th year, the final Harry Potter was released and everyone seem
